Over the last three years, CPR’s Annual Instrument Drive has collected more than 2,000 donated instruments and distributed many of them to deserving schools throughout Colorado. This year, listeners demonstrated incredible generosity, donating more than 750 instruments in just two weeks. Those instruments are now being repaired by technicians at the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology, who generously donate 50% of their time.

Even with that deep discount, the repairs would not have been possible without donors to our Instrument Repair Fund.

CPR is still accepting applications from schools interested in receiving donated instruments. If you'd like your school to be considered for these instruments, please submit an application by April 30.

After the repairs are completed, we'll match donated instruments with schools and music programs throughout Colorado that have submitted applications. And in late August, we look forward to presenting those instruments to schools from throughout Colorado at a ceremony like the one that was held last year in Gates Hall of the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
