One thing is clear after covering the legislature for a few years: some ideas are perennials. There are bills that lawmakers keep bringing back year after year in hopes of passage. Host Ryan Warner talks about the fate of a couple of those measures with CPR's Megan Verlee, as well as a House Republican proposal to compensate wildfire victims that's drawing criticism from a leader in their own party.
Legislation discussed:
SB15 - Creating an Optional Category of Higher Education Tuition
HB1238 - Ensuring K-3 Literacy Education
HB1352 - Lower North Fork Wildfire Commission
