A widget is a small portion of a web page that displays a particular type of content. Widgets are customizable -- you can move them around on the page, delete them, and add new widgets. The small rectangular boxes you saw in the "MY CPR" tab are all widgets.
Click the PERSONALIZE THIS SITE link in the top left of the page. The window that appears contains a list of all available widgets. Click the name of a widget to see it displayed. If you want to add it to your page, click the "Add to My CPR" button.
To add a new widget, see How can I add a new widget?
Once you have the widgets you'd like to see, you can arrange them on the page to suit your preferences. To move a widget, just click on the yellow title bar, then drag-and-drop it in a new location on the page.
We'll even remember your widget preferences, and as long as you come back to cpr.org from the same computer, you'll see all the changes you made.
Sort of. We've incluced a number of Netvibes widgets in our collection. When you browse the widget collection, you may see some widgets you recognize if you're a Netvibes user. We haven't made all the Netvibes widgets available for use within our site, but we're evaluating new ones to expand the collection.
At top of each page on cpr.org is our Media Player, which allows you to listen to our live programming. To the left of where it says "WHAT'S ON NOW", click the "LISTEN TO CLASSICAL MUSIC" button.
The Media Player's audio controls allow you to stop and restart the audio, and adjust the playback volume.

There are several easy ways to find out more:
If you heard something on Colorado Matters or Colorado Spotlight recently, click that program's link on the left side of the page. You'll see the most recent program listed at the top of the page, and you can page through to find older shows.
If the show's announcer gave you the URL where you can find the information, just type that into your browser's address bar.
Or use the site's search tool to help you find it: just type one or two words describing what you're looking for into the search box and click the "SEARCH CPR.ORG" button.
At the end of many articles you'll find here is a list of "tags", or keywords relevant to this article and others. Clicking on a tag will show all the articles that use that tag. This makes it easy for you to find other stories related to the one you just read.
Also, you'll see the "Popular tags" list on the right side of many articles. This list shows the tags that are used most throughout the site. Clicking here will show you some of the subjects we're writing about the most.
