Since 2009, CPR has been giving the gift of music to Colorado children through the Instrument Drive, a community program designed to promote and strengthen music education and appreciation across the state.
How it Works
CPR collects donated instruments at drop-off locations throughout the state and works with our partners at the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology to repair them. After the instruments are refurbished, CPR partners with the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to award them to school music programs in need.
To date, CPR has distributed more than 1,400 instruments to 90 elementary, middle and high schools in Colorado.
