Sweepstakes Rules

1.No pledge is necessary. All calls to 1-800-496-1544, or 1-800-496-1530 with or without a pledge, DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD AS ANNOUNCED ON-AIR are valid. In addition, listeners may enter online at www.cpr.org with or without a pledge during the sweepstakes period.

2. Each sweepstakes has a defined period of time for entry as announced on-air or on-line.  All entries must be received within that time period.  For phone calls, entries are timestamped from the time the call is answered by a Colorado Public Radio representative.  For web inquiries, the entry is timestamped from the time the entry/ pledge page is loaded.

3. Prizes cannot be substituted for their fair market cash value. If winner declines the prize, no other prize will be offered.

4. Winners will be randomly drawn by a station employee within 72 hours of the end of the pledge drive and notified by telephone within 48 hours after that.  Winning names will be posted on this website and may or may not be announced on-air.

5. In the event a prize is refused or is unclaimed for one week, a new name will be drawn and the winner contacted. The process will be repeated until the prize is accepted.

6. Prizes valued at over $600 will be reported as taxable income, in accordance with IRS regulations.

7. One winner per household per pledge drive.

8. Employees of Colorado Public Radio and their families are ineligible.

9. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries.  Mulitple entries are void and only the first entry is counted.

10 .Sweepstakes are void where prohibited.  Automated or scripted sweepstakes entries will be disqualified and restrictions on access to cpr.org may be invoked.
