Boston Baroque was founded in 1973 by harpsichordist Martin Pearlman, becoming the first permanent Baroque orchestra in the North America. Boston Baroque recently added to their extensive and critically acclaimed discography (now 21 recordings) with their latest release, Joseph Haydn's The Creation.
David Rutherford featured the recording in its entirety on Sacred Classics on CPR Classical on Sunday, November 18. This is the conversation he had with Maestro Pearlman about period instrument ensembles in general, Boston Baroque in particular, and Haydn's magnum opus, The Creation.
