Blind since birth, Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii wowed the judges at last year's Van Cliburn International Piano Competition with his playing of Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram said "Tsujii kept the audience spellbound from start to completion. He received an instantaneous and sustained ovation, a tribute to his character and also to musicianship that is unpretentious and edifying."
Mr. Tsujii's second CD has just been released. The all Chopin CD features the Piano Concerto No. 1, Berceause op. 57 and 12 Etudes.
