On June 8, 2010, the Wiener Philharmoniker treated its namesake city to a free open-air concert on the grounds of the magnificent Schoenbrunn Palace. Franz Welser-Most conducted the Wiener Philharmoniker in a program of universal cosmic appeal. Its title: "Moon, Planet, Stars". It marked the first time the Vienna Philharmonic played the music of film composer John Williams - and the crowd loved it!
