Monday

Celebrating Beethoven's birthday with excerpts from the Pacifica Quartet's Beethoven cycle, as featured by Denver's Friends of Chamber Music in April 2012. We'll hear Beethoven's String Quartet No. 15 in A minor and the first movement from String Quartet No. 7 in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1 (1st Razumovsky).

Tuesday

Pianist David Korevaar is the featured soloist with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra this Friday and Saturday. Here's David performing Claire de Lune" in CPR's performance studio earlier this year:

Wednesday

Canto Deo's Christmas concert is coming up this weekend in Denver, Littleton and Highlands Ranch. We hear excerpts from last year's concert, conducted by Jonathan Brown.

Thursday

We'll feature Colorado composer Richard Toensing's "Kontakion on the Nativity of Christ."

Friday

Colorado Spotlight will not air. Instead, we'll feature a broadcast of music from the St. Olaf Christmas Festival from St. Olaf College in Minnesota.

SUNDAY

We'll hear the Colorado Children’s Chorale 2013 "Christmas with the Children's Chorale" concert recorded earlier this month at Boettcher Concert Hall, with commentary by Artistic Director Deborah DeSantis and Associate Director Mary Louise Burke.
