Monday

Boulder Philharmonic Music Director Michael Butterman talks about their concert Saturday. We hear one of the works on the program, Alban Berg's Violin Concerto. The recording we'll hear comes from Itzhak Perlman, the Colorado Symphony's soloist at their concert Thursday.

Tuesday

A Friends of Chamber Music event from November. We'll hear part of the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble's concert, Johannes Brahms' String Sextet No. 1 in B flat major, Op. 18.

Wednesday

Denver Eclectic Concerts continues this Thursday. We'll hear Debussy's "Suite Bergamasque" from an earlier concert, performed by the Confluence Saxophone Quartet.

Thursday

The Colorado Music Festival orchestra performs Gustav Holst's "The Planets" with St. Martin's Chamber Choir in a concert from July.

Friday

Music from the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra's previous season. We'll hear Sergei Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, with Christopher Taylor on piano.

SUNDAY

We'll hear music from the Sphere Ensemble, the Front Range Chamber Players, flutist Christina Jennings, all of whom have upcoming performances.
