In 2016, people riding the A Line commuter rail service to Denver International Airport will be looking at advertising for the University of Colorado now that the school has won a branding agreement with the Regional Transportation District.

The Denver Post reports that the agreement was approved Tuesday and gives naming rights to the university for the rail that will link Union Station to DIA.

The naming rights agreement includes exterior advertisements on rail and bus vehicles and allows CU to use its name and logo on digital and printed material related to the line.

The $5 million deal is the first of its kind of RTD. The funds will go to the RTD board of directors' reserve account, with the board determining how they will be used.
