A civil service hearing officer has ruled that a Denver police officer who was fired after he was accused of using inappropriate force against a woman who had been arrested should be reinstated.
The Denver Post reports that hearing officer Terry Tomsick ruled Wednesday that James Medina should instead serve a 60-day suspension and be on probation for two years.
