Vice President Joe Biden will speak at the University of Colorado Boulder next week, the school announced Tuesday.

Biden's speech will address sexual assault on college campuses, his office said. The vice president will also visit other campuses across the nation next week as part of the "It's On Us" campaign.

“We share the same goals as the vice president when it comes to the ‘It’s On Us’ campaign and preventing sexual assault on college campuses,” CU Boulder Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano said in a statement.

A recent university survey of its students found that 28 percent of women and 6 percent of men reported being sexually assaulted while in college. The campus is also under federal investigation for how it handles allegations of sexual assault.

Ticket details will be announced soon, the university said.
