The legislature has approved a bill that requires schools offering sex education to teach the use of contraceptives, but critics argue teens should simply be told to wait until marriage. The bill exempts the town of Center, where schools teach abstinence until marriage. Ryan Warner talks to school counselor Katrina Ruggles, who runs the program in Center, and eighth-grade student Angel Archuleta. He also talks to Carol Bowar, vice president of program services for Girls Incorporated of Metro Denver, which supports the new rules; and Gina Harris, executive director of Friends First, which created the sex-ed curriculum used in Center.
