If you missed the smash musical “Hamilton” in Denver last year, don’t throw away your shot again.

“Hamilton” will return to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in 2020.

The hip-hop history musical will set up residence at the Buell Theatre from Aug. 12 - Oct. 4, three weeks longer than its 2018 run.

“Hamilton” was a driver behind one of the most successful seasons in Denver Center for the Performing Arts' history.

The pre-Broadway tryout of the Disney musical “Frozen” also pushed sales for the 2017-18 season. The performing arts organization’s annual report said more than $53 million in revenue came from the DCPA's Broadway division alone.

Overall, more than 850,000 people attended the season’s 43 productions, generating a $193 million economic impact, according to the report.

As with the musical’s 2018 visit, season ticket holders will get priority access to "Hamilton" tickets before the public does. DCPA will release details about public ticket sales at a later date. Last time, tickets sold out within hours after sales went wide, and some reemerged on resale sites going for thousands of dollars.
