The High Park Fire-- burning near Fort Collins-- is a challenge in two big ways... you have to put it out... but you also have to manage all the people that requires and feed them, and transport them. The seriousness of the fire-- and the complexity of the operation-- are why a special Type 1-- team took over Monday. They’re called in on the worst cases. We talk about this with Mike Ferris, a spokesman at the National Interagency Fire Center. First he explains the firefighting itself.
