Managing wild mustangs on federal land has been a controversial issue for many years, and debate continues over whether the horses should be rounded up - and what should be done with them once they're captured. Only a fraction of them are adopted. The National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory board is in Denver Monday (6/14/10) hosting a workshop to get public input on the new initiative.
Colorado Public Radio's Anna Panoka spoke with Sally Spencer, marketing director for the BLM's Division of Wild Horses and Burros.
