Recent chemical attacks in Syria have given a University of Colorado Boulder professor extra motivation to pursue his line of research. Rich Noble and his partner Douglas Gin are developing products for first responders who have to clean up after chemical attacks. They have a contract from the Pentagon to develop lightweight hazmat suits that can be worn for long stretches of time. The researchers are also making progress on a coating to spray onto contaminated surfaces, and then peeled off. Ryan Warner speaks with Rich Noble.
