Colorado is just shy of recovering the jobs it lost during the Great Recession. That’s according to a new report from the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment. It shows non-farm payroll jobs are 800 below the previous peak in May, 2008. The same report finds Colorado’s unemployment continues to drop, from 7.1 percent in March to 6.9 in April. The strongest job growth is in “business services,” and, coming up, Ryan Warner will talk with recruiter Brian Taylor, who works in that field.
