As controversial University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill continues to appeal his dismissal, the school is moving ahead with plans to improve its tenure process. Mark Heckler is chairman of the school's tenure review committee and provost of CU’s Denver campus and Health Sciences Center. Also on the committee is English Professor R L Widmann.
