Denver is one of the top 10 worst cities in the nation when it comes to bed bugs. That’s according to pest control companies Terminix and Orkin. Grand Junction resident Jude Sirota doesn't want her city to end up on that list. She’s teamed up with her German Shepherd mix to find the offending insects. Mesa County officials have said bed bugs are a problem in Grand Junction, although it’s not clear how bad they are. CPR’s Pat Mack asked Sirota if it’s possible for dogs to just sniff the bugs out, like drug dogs looking for banned substances. (First aired Sept. 13, 2011)
