More than 1,000 Colorado families are still not able to get to their homes following the September flood, and more than 100 of them are still in hotels up and down the Front Range. People who have not yet applied for FEMA aid can do so through November 14, 2013. The state has asked the federal government to consider extending that deadline. To contact FEMA for aid, call 1-800-621-FEMA.
