You probably know the movie line “a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.” Well, researchers at CU-Boulder have captured an image of the farthest-away cluster of galaxies ever observed. It's 13-point-1 billion light years away. They did this with the help of the Hubble Space Telescope, which was powerful enough to see light arriving from such a great distance. The leader of the team, Michele Trenti, told CPR’s Pat Mack why this finding is significant.
