Huge spikes in the cost of gas and food are causing people to spend their money differently. They're also changing the tactics of businesses. Donald Lichtenstein studies consumer behavior. He chairs the marketing department at the Leeds School of Business at CU-Boulder. He told CPR’s Pat Mack how people are adjusting to higher gas prices.
