When 30-year-old Len Necefer tells his friends he loves to ski and climb they often ask: "Why? Those are white people sports."

Necefer is Navajo and runs NativesOutdoors, a company based in Denver. His mission is to teach outdoor lovers about native cultures and to get more American Indians into outdoor sports.

He joined Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner as the country's largest outdoor retail trade show kicks off in Denver.
