On Pot, Guidance Finally Comes From On High

The Department of Justice said Thursday, essentially, that it has better things to do than to prosecute marijuana cases in states where it’s legal, like Colorado and Washington. Reaction has been swift. Governor John Hickenlooper said the announcement “shows the federal government is respecting the will of Colorado voters.” There are obviously many more people reacting to this, and trying to glean as much from the federal guidance as possible.
