Remembering Photographer Russ Ohlson

Listen Now

Russ Ohlson was 12 when he discovered his life’s passion -- photography -- and began using his Kodak Brownie camera. Ohlson started shooting weddings when he was in his teens and went on to run portrait studios in Denver and Vail. It was an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in 1980 that led him to photograph presidents. Russ Ohlson died last month at the age of 66. Ryan Warner speaks to his daughter, Jen Ohlson.
