Drugs that keep HIV at bay are so good these days, they can make the virus hard to spread. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently imagined a generation without AIDS. She said, “we now know that if you treat a person living with HIV effectively, you reduce the risk of transmission to a partner by 96 percent." With that in mind, Clinton says a “test and treat approach” is a critical part of a global AIDS strategy. Victor Dukay, of Denver, has been advocating for this approach for a couple of years.
