A new episode of PBS's FRONTLINE follows Joan Butterstein as she decides to end her life. Butterstein, of Littleton, had advancing lung cancer and had broken her hip. Her husband and daughter agreed to be at her side when she took a lethal does of medication. The Frontline piece also follows other families and friends of those who take their lives, and their differing views on assisted suicide. Ryan Warner speaks with the film's producer Karen O'Connor and Kathleen Coulter, Butterstein's daughter.
