After 40 years, the Telluride Film Festival continues to be one of the most exclusive and revered international gatherings of movie buffs. Other festivals have grown to a massive scale and are full of screaming fans, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite celebrities strolling through town. But Telluride remains intimate and, in some ways, aloof towards market forces and the publicity machine. The 2013 festival is underway, and CPR’s arts editor, Chloe Veltman, sat down with a longtime attendee, our film critic, Howie Movshovitz.
