Lots of people can lay claim to visiting the Four Corners Monument and stretching themselves to stand in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado all at once. But visiting each one of Colorado's four corners? That's a little more difficult. It's also the subject of a story in the May/June issue of Colorado Life, as journalist Matt Masich recounts his journey to the far reaches of the state.
Masich talked to Colorado Matters about his adventures, including the challenging route to the remote northwest corner. During his travels he encountered everyone from a farmer who still uses a horse-drawn plow to a member of the Ute Mountain Ute tribe, who sees such state borders "meaningless."
