Let’s say you want to get rid of an old computer. There are some options - sell it, trash it, or have it recycled. Now if you go with that last option of recycling you might feel pretty good about yourself. Reporter Kristin Jones says don’t pat yourself on the back yet. She dug into the story of what happens to old computers for I - News. It’s a non-profit investigative outfit in Denver. She found that some recycled laptops and desktops end up in landfills on the other side of the world in developing countries like Mali in West Africa.
