Training a New Class of Military Doctors

Listen Now

The state’s newest medical school, Rocky Vista University in Parker, will graduate its first class next month. There’s something noteworthy about the graduates. A high percentage of them are becoming military doctors. Physicans at Rocky Vista are trained as doctors of osteopathic medicine. Osteopaths are licensed physicians and although exact figures are hard to come by, they are heavily represented in the military. Dr. Bruce Dubin is Rocky Vista University’s Dean. He spoke with CPR’s Andrea Dukakis.
