Law enforcement officials in Colorado presented the latest on financial scams to citizens and police officers today as part of an investor fraud summit in Denver. It’s the second year the US Justice Department is holding regional summits across the country in an effort to fight fraud. From 2008 to 2011, the FBI saw a 136% increase in investment fraud crimes that can lead people to lose their savings. CPR's Anna Hanel spoke with U.S. Attorney for Colorado John Walsh.
