Denver musician Tyler Despres of Science Partner and Gin Doctors has died. He was 34.

A post on the Gin Doctors Facebook page reads that the guitarist and singer passed away yesterday.

Despres played in Dualistics before forming Science Partner with members of Kitty Crimes and The Swayback. The band performed at CPR's OpenAir in 2013.

More recently, Despres co-founded Gin Doctors, a band that covered '90s alternative rock acts like Weezer, Green Day and The Cranberries. They performed at this year's Underground Music Showcase in July.
