Treefort Music Festival takes place each March in downtown Boise, Idaho. Now in its sixth year, the five-day music event continues to draw major indie acts and showcase up-and-coming artists from the American West and beyond.

The 2017 event kicks off Wednesday. This year's headliners include Mac DeMarco, Angel Olsen, STRFKR and more.

The 2017 Treefort lineup also features over a dozen Colorado acts. Several of those have recently performed in the CPR Performance Studio.

Watch those performances below, or view the list of other Colorado acts on this year's Treefort lineup.

Wheelchair Sports Camp

The experimental hip-hop band recently released its debut album on rapper Sage Francis' Strange Famous label.

Dragondeer

Named Colorado's "Best Blues Rock Band" two years in a row by Westword readers, the Denver rockers recorded their forthcoming full-length debut with producer Mark Howard, whose resume includes work with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Tom Waits.

Shady Elders

The Denver dream-pop band took a laid-back approach to recording its recent debut LP, "Inside Voices." They performed last summer at Red Rocks Amphitheatre before a screening of Prince's 1984 film "Purple Rain."

The Outfit

The Outfit's video for this year's Tiny Desk Contest was one of our favorite submissions from the Centennial State.

Flaural

The Denver psych-rock ensemble plays a Treefort set in the midst of a West Coast tour. They're back in Denver for a May 30 performance at Hi-Dive.
