Gasoline Lollipops recently released the LP "Resurrection." This record completes the Boulder country-rock band's "Lucky 7 Trilogy" which chronicles singer Clay Rose's battle with drug addiction. "Resurrection" serves as the hopeful ending to the trilogy, with Rose embracing sobriety and his role as a father.

More from OpenAir Sessions:

The band -- which last year was voted "Best Country Band" in Colorado by Westword readers -- visited the CPR Performance Studio to play four songs from "Resurrection." Rose also spoke with Alisha Sweeney about how his art reflects his life, finding inspiration in his son and the band's recent shows in Belize.
