Kyle Craft didn't have a musical upbringing in Louisiana. However, the young singer-songwriter quickly discovered his musical voice after purchasing a David Bowie hits compilation.
On his debut album, "Dolls Of Highland," Craft finds an intersection between country and glam rock. He plays most of the instrumentation on the record, but it's his piercing tenor on "Berlin" that stands front and center.
Kyle Craft performs at Lost Lake Lounge on Aug. 22. He'll also perform an OpenAir Session that day.
