Minneapolis synth-rock band Polica is back with its third album "United Crushers." It's out Friday
The band is led by singer Channy Leaneagh, whose typically modified and multi-tracked vocals are clear and direct on the single "Lime Habit."
Leaneagh provides a soulful, human element to counter the song's robotic beats and synthesizer lines. Fellow Minneapolis artist Ryan Olson (GAYNGS, Digitata) produced the new album.
