Since moving from New York City to Denver five years ago, Anna Morsett has made waves in the Denver music scene with her band The Still Tide. On the new EP "Each, After," Morsett strips down the indie rock group's instrumentation for an intimate and ethereal sound. The singer and guitarist says it reflects a different, more personal side of her songcraft.

More from OpenAir Sessions:

Morsett and bandmate Jake Miller stopped into the CPR Performance Studio to play three songs from "Each, After." They also spoke with Bruce Trujillo about writing with a band versus writing solo, how one song from the record came together over the course of five years, and balancing The Still Tide with their work in other local bands.
