Stephen Bruner -- who writes and performs as Thundercat -- has recorded with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu and Childish Gambino. On his third album, "Drunk," the bassist and singer adds two more notable names to that list: Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald.
The single "Show You The Way" follows Bruner's live collaboration with McDonald last year -- where the two played "What A Fool Believes," a No. 1 hit for the latter. The Thundercat original is a sleek soul-funk song that prominently features McDonald's and Loggins' distinctive voices.
