Alice Glass leaves Crystal Castles
Alice Glass, singer and one-half of electronica duo Crystal Castles, announced this week that she has left the group. A post on her Facebook page explains:
My art and my self-expression in any form has always been an attempt towards sincerity, honesty, and empathy for others.
For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within CC.
Although this is the end of the band, I hope my fans will embrace me as a solo artist in the same way they have embraced Crystal Castles.
The band's manager has hinted that the the second half of the duo, producer Ethan Hahn, may continue under the Crystal Castles moniker, telling NME: "I wouldn't bury the dead just yet."

David Lynch to resurrect "Twin Peaks" in 2016
Filmmaker/musician David Lynch has announced he will resurrect the television series "Twin Peaks." The new nine-episode season will air on Showtime in 2016, with Lynch directing each episode and collaborating with co-creator Mark Frost. Since "Twin Peaks" last aired in 1991, the show has since gained a substantial cult following and artists ranging from Beach House to Lana Del Rey have cited it as an influence.

The Postal Service reunion documentary "Everything Will Change" out Nov. 24
Synth-pop duo The Postal Service has announced details of a feature-length concert documentary "Everything Will Change." Filmed over two nights at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, Calif., the movie chronicles the band's 10-year anniversary tour from last year with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and the full concert performance of sole album "Give Up." It's out Nov. 24 via Sub Pop, and in select theaters on Nov. 14 (no Denver dates are scheduled).
