Professional background: 
Jeremy joined Colorado Public Radio in 2015, bringing more than 15 years of experience working as a radio host and behind the scenes as a producer. Along with his deep-seated passion for music, Jeremy provides expertise in curating a smart, music-focused listening experience.

Most recently, Jeremy was the music programming coordinator for XRAY-FM, in Portland, Ore., where he wore many hats, leading afternoon programming as well as producing and hosting a weekly two-hour program, “Hooray for Tuesday.” Prior to that, he helped establish and program Oregon Public Broadcasting's music service, opbmusic. Jeremy spent seven years there as a music host and producer, during which time he also edited opbmusic’s blog, maintained its social media presence and covered live music events, including Sasquatch! and SXSW. Jeremy began his radio career at his college station, KISU-FM (owned by Idaho State University), where he was the program director and hosted the station’s first student show.

Throughout the course of his career, Jeremy has conducted more than 200 studio interviews. One of his favorites was an interview for NPR Music with the Portland-based band The Decemberists around the release of their album, “The King is Dead.” He’s also been featured as a regular contributor to NPR Music.

An accomplished writer and photographer, Jeremy also served as a freelancer for the Portland Mercury.

Awards: 
During Jeremy’s time at XRAY-FM, the station was named Portland’s Best Radio Station (music) in a Willamette Week Readers’ Poll
