The ongoing partial shutdown of the federal government has affected National Parks and federal lands across the country in different ways.
Roads that were passable at the time of the shutdown would remain open unless conditions worsened, park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson said.
The search for Ryan Albert started in early October, but winter weather conditions hampered efforts.

Campfires are now only allowed in designated campfire rings in picnic areas and established campgrounds. Charcoal grills, wood fuel camp stoves and gas grills can also be used.
Study co-author Ivan Rudik said air quality warnings issued by parks and other government agencies may be causing the visitation drop.
Park officials said the decision was based on the extreme fire danger and the large number of visitors expected this month.
