NPR’s “From the Top” heads to Colorado

CPR is teaming up with The Colorado Symphony to encourage Colorado’s outstanding student musiciansages 8-18 to audition for NPR’s hit show, “From the Top.”

“From The Top” with host Christopher O’Riley showcases American’s best youngclassical musician during live concert recordings. The program airs on CPR’s classical music stationsevery Sunday at 6 p.m. 

The Colorado Symphony will present a concert recording of the program live from Boettcher Concert Hall inJanuary, 2013. This special broadcast gives student musicians a chance to perform side-by-side with a fullprofessional orchestra. Students who audition may also be featured on future “From the Top”programs recorded around the country.


Local student musicians can take advantage of this unique opportunity and submit anapplication to audition for “From the Top.”
