Will, above, and Julie Hughes have raised zebus in Vineland, east of Pueblo, since 2015, more out of passion than for any practical reason; he's computer programing and she's medical coder. Zebus are about one-third the size of regular cattle and native to India and parts of South Asia. Besides their small size they're also recognizable because of their distinctive humps and horns. In fact, the hump's size, shape and placement are a key part of how they're judged.
