Cipora Katz, born in Poland. When the Nazis entered Siemiatycze, Poland, Cipora and her family were forced into the town ghetto. She was 4 years old when she was wrapped in a blanket and handed to her father through a fence that surrounded the ghetto. Jews remaining in the ghetto were sent to the Treblinka concentration camp, where everyone from Cipora's community perished, including her mother and 7-year-old sister.
