Denver Brass launches ‘Tiny Tots’ youth concerts on Tuesday

Photo: Denver Brass flash mob thumbnailThe Denver Brass hosts a “Tiny Tots Love Music” concert in Sedalia on Tuesday morning that features kid-friendly music from around the world.

It’s the first of 10 youth concerts the 14-member ensemble scheduled for its upcoming season.

Tuesday’s concert program includes “St. Louis Blues” by W. C. Handy, “Habanera” from “Carmen” by Georges Bizet and the “Can Can” by Jacques Offenbach.

The 45-minute performance begins at 10 a.m. at Cherokee Ranch, 6113 Daniels Park Road in Sedalia.

Audience members can visit with the musicians and learn about their instruments after the concert. Tickets are $15; children under 2 are free.
