WEDNESDAY

We'll hear Edouard Lalo's "Symphonie espagnole" performed by the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Michael Butterman and violinist Jennifer Frautschi.

Thursday

Pianist Stephen Hough is the featured soloist this weekend with the Colorado Symphony. We'll hear Hough performing Felix Mendelssohn's "Variations sérieuses" and Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor from a previous Friends of Chamber Music concert.

FriDAY

Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado co-leader Frank Nowell talks about the group's next concert.

SUNDAY

We'll hear:

  • Pianist Kirill Gerstein performing Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" at a recent Friends of Chamber Music concert;
  • Colorado composer Jeffrey Nytch's Symphony No. 1, which is about to receive its Denver premeire from the Denver Philharmonic;
  • Violinist Claude Sim, the soloist at an upcoming Littleton Symphony Orchestra concert, playing in the CPR Performance Studio; and
  • Pro Musica Colorado Chamber Orchestra, which has upcoming concerts.
