Jessie Andrews, circa 1910. Born in 1893, her family later moved to Denver from St. Louis, Missouri. With limited options for a profession, Jessie put her musical talents to work teaching piano. She married Gilbert Zaceryry in 1918. In 1923, she obtained a passport to travel to England where she performed with the Sam Salvin Plantation Review.
